Actually this is quite nice. I especially like the pale leaves in the background to give the painting some depth, but I would like to have seen a bit more slant to the trees. In my experience with Chinese and Japaness Sumi Painting, they use more diagonals for impact rather than the static effect of trees that are more perpendicular to the ground.
