Aug 23, 2008 Rating Chagrin Falls Popcors by: Mary Weed Lucky me I can see all kinds of things not painted,people standing in line with great expectation on their faces,children on sleds with mouths already open,puppies rolling in the snow and neighbors bundled up greeting each other---and I can smell the popcorn! I wish I was there. Keep in mind we need not be trapped by fixed mind sets. Aug 19, 2008 Rating Is this a painting or a picture by: Tom Just a few comments, you appear to handle the brush well, but it comes across as a photograph not a painting. looks very mechanical with no artistic touch. Much has been written how to avoid this. Hard edges with too much detail, you told the whole story without giving the viewer any options, you read the last page of the book to me. The artist is a person of vision not observation.
