It is cute. It would help to define the sides and planes of the face with modeling shadows and then highlight the front of the face more. Yes, it is easier said than done! Keep on! Barb

Cute pose, but there needs to be more color in the face. And I am not talking about flesh color. Some red could be around the chin from the reflected light that comes from the shirt. Greens or blues could be in the shadows. The painting is a nice start. Be more adventuresome in color.
