I actually like this work inspite of your comment that you had lost the whites. I find that there are plenty of them left. And the beautiful color of the water compliments the colors of the trees on either side. Sprinkling a little water or alcohol on the light areas of the water will add texture, and you can actually lift some of the color out with a tissue if you use water. Alcohol creates a texture that can't be removed. Be very frugal when using alcohol because it can cause ugly spots as well as delightful ones.
