Jul 18, 2009 Rating beautiful painting by: Barbara This is a beautiful painting, the use of your watercolors remain lovely and transparent and i am whisked to a place I would love to go, but have not done so yet. Perhaps more of the waters color behind the egret's head would show up better, but that would not stop me from wanting this painting. Keep on Painting!

May 02, 2009 Rating Egret at Indian Rocks by: Mary Ann Your skill in drawing is excellent and you have a beautiful touch with the brush. I know that it is hard to paint white egrets against white sand, but it would help in this case to make the water a bit more colorful against the bird's head. Or maybe a bit more shadow on the chest so that he stands out from the sand more. Lovely painting and probably a wonderful memory for you.
