Jan 23, 2009 Rating Fall at Farnsworth by: Mary Ann Geri, Your complimentary colors are fine, but if the background could be smooth it would set the textures of the leaves off more dramatically.....or vice versa. The entire painting seems to have the same texture. Variation is one of the elements of design.
