Feb 12, 2009 Rating Fishing on Lake Malawi by: Mary Ann Shirley, That is perhaps the most beautiful representation of water and fishermen I have seen in a long time. You must be an excellent teacher as well. The wisp of clouds leads the eye right to the fishermen as well. Don't you just love the beauty of Africa and its people? I have painted little portraits for the children and adults in what was an AIDS hospice (and now a Children's Home) called Sparrow Village. See those images on my other site: http://www.maboysen.com/Sparrow.htm I have written a short article about painting portraits (which is something I rarely do, as I prefer character studies over portraits) that will be up on this site soon.
