Floral Grandeur

First of all, I can see that you are not afraid of color. That tells me something about your personality....strong! But several things need to be addressed concerning design and technique.
Subject matter needs to run off the page in three directions. Considering that, the flowers should run off the top of the page (not stop at the edge), and off the left side of the page (to create better use of negative shape around the vase).
As for the technique, there is too much detail in each of the flowers. There seems to be no dramatic focal point. Select several flowers in the arrangement and focus on their detail by blurring the edges in the others (especially in the shadows). The same goes fot the little flowers on the table.
One other thing: the hot spot in the lower left background needs to be cooled down a bit. The eye naturally goes to the hot areas, and that is not your focal point.
I hope you do not feel that I am being too critical, but good artists like yourself, need directions as well as beginners. I would hope to see you do this painting again, following some of the suggestions that I have made. I think you will be pleased with the results.
