I've been painting for about 4 years, and enjoying it immensely. I take lessons with a group once a month, and love the group energy of painting with others. I'm still a beginner, with much to learn!

You really love red and yellow! Your paintings are vibrant. However, try using some hot pinks in with the reds, and also some violets. Turquoise Light and Cad. Red. Light are great colors to use for "punch"! They are opaque, though and should be used with care. Holbein's Opera is a great color for mixing. It is bright and transparent and creates beautiful secondary washes.
