Mary Ann, once again, thank you for the tip. When I use my 300lb supply, I will order the 200 lb. Waterford and wet it on both sides as you have suggested. It should definitely save me money.

Have you ever tried 200# Waterford paper? I wet both sides and stick it down to a non-absorbent surface so that it doesn't buckle. Then my paper is wet enough to accept smooth glazes of color. You can wipe the painting surface dry enough to have control of the color, but the interior of the paper remains damp, and edges are easily softened. Just a thought for you.
