Waterford and wet it on both sides as you have suggested. It should definitely save me money. Jul 20, 2009 Rating Guardian by: Mary Ann Have you ever tried 200# Waterford paper? I wet both sides and stick it down to a non-absorbent surface so that it doesn't buckle. Then my paper is wet enough to accept smooth glazes of color. You can wipe the painting surface dry enough to have control of the color, but the interior of the paper remains damp, and edges are easily softened. Just a thought for you.
