The trees
by: Lee Fritch

Nice loose handling of the trees, with just enough separation. This painting definitely "declares it's medium"...no question that it IS a watercolor. Are those people standing on the rocks? If so, they are out of scale w/r to the house way in the background.

I like the overall feel of the piece....very spomtaneous.

India 1
by: Mary Ann

Nalini,

This is a nice memory for you and quite mystical. I have never been to India and don't know what colors are found in the landscape, but I would like to see more warm (but pale) colors in the background under the blues of the mountains and a little more contrast in the subjects in the foreground. Keep up the good work.

walked right into your painting
by: Alana

Liked your painting. Has a nice path for the eye to travel- in. Not sure what your focal point is but I liked it all. Thank you for the morning travel with my coffee.
