Jul 20, 2009 Rating Into the Mist by: Mary Ann Nice work. Another thought for the foreground....Have you ever created ocean foam with alcohol? If you paint a very faint wash for the foam, then sprinkle drops of alcohol on the wash, it creates a foamy look. If you sprinkle the paper with the alcohol first, and then paint, you will get dark spots instead. Can't figure out why it creates a different look by doing it that way, but you can use that method for rocks instead. Play around with it on a scrap piece of your paper and see how it works for you. Thanks for sharing.
