I would love it if you did a lesson on masking fluid and how and where to use it.

Masking fluid
by: Mary Ann

I almost never use masking fluid, but here are some tips:

1.If you want to cover a large area, use an old brush. If you wish to save your brush dip it in soapy water first, and then quickly rinse it out so that the liquid masking doesn't creep up into the ferrule.
2. If you need fine lines, use a ruling pen or a toothpick. The dried masking will peel off the points of a ruling pen.
3. Make sure the paper is totally dry before you use the masking, and totally dry again before painting over it.
4.Do NOT use permanent masking fluid, as you cannot remove it. If you ever wish to change what you have masked, it would be impossible.
5. Masking is not a perfect solution to keeping the paper white. The edges are almost never sharp and clear and the results almost always need to be cleaned up after it is removed. Frankly, learning to paint around objects is not as hard as you might think.
6. Do not leave the masking on the paper for a long time (like several days, as it is difficult to remove then).
7. A rubber cement eraser is good to use for the removal, as your fingers might leave oil on the surface.

I hope this helps.
