James,
All of your painting is in the same value (very high key), and needing darks and detail. The strongest colors should be in the foreground (rocks and lighthouse area). You could also make the water a little darker, but it is nice that you have the distant hills in a pale tone. You can ad detail to the rocks and grass area with stronger colors, and with darker water, that should about do it! Good luck
