Two Pagodas from a Village
by: shirl

Yes we do have to be careful with copyright, but this painting is very good especially if the artist has not been painting long as Ulramarine blue is very hard to do a tonal study with as the is not enough dark in it and with this color it is impossible to go darker. So sepia is the best for tonal work. As Mary Ann says. Well done.

TWO PAGODAS

Nice Study. However, you must not depend on copying the work of others, especially printed items because they are copyrighted and it is illegal to use them for anything but your very own property. I would like to see you use more color, or do some studies in black and white or sepia tones rather than Ultramarine Blue. It is a very harsh color.
