About 35 x 22cm.... reference photo was of a child, but I liked the position of hands in particular, and as I concentrated on those I think I made the subject androgynous.

Best help for students NEW
by: Soniy

This content is written about the educational system in old times. In the old times, people were very careless about the education and they used to ignore to get their children educated and they realized it very later. You can read our rushessays review that able to write all your assignment work.

Beautiful!

Pauline, you amaze me with your awesome talent!
This is wonderful...where did you study? I have not had any formal training out side of taking a couple of watercolor classes offered through the city and in most cases you are on your own. I would really like to know where you received your training or if it is a God given talent.

Thank you!

Thank you Mary Ann....it's really super to get the feedback. I do love painting hands and also eyes.... to me those are the most expressive four (!) features in a portrait.
Cheers...

Pauline,

I like the liberties you took with your subject. It portrays many emotions, yet seems so peaceful. Your mastery of painting hands is amazing, as so many artists have never gotten it correct. The fact that you played up the eyes is very important, as they are the focal point of the piece. Keep up the good work.
