Mar 30, 2008 Rating Abstracts that will sell. by: Anonymous This is a perfect example of an abstract that is well planned out in the mind before color hits the painting surface. Colors blend and pretty much do their on thing but this abstract has nice form and interesting shapes which draw attention. I am still learning about abstract art. My tips for good abstract design are planning, create nice textures,have good balance,have interesting shapes,use a limited palette{2 or 3 colors that compliment each other}and when we start getting better results try to say something with your work.
