Brian,
Nice colors in this rose, but there should be more variation in the values in each petal. When you shade a flower, use a darker version of the color of the petal. Perhaps this one was a very dark rose to begin with, and that is difficult. However, if you light up the rose, perhaps from the side, you will see highlights that give it life. The leaves are excellent. Consider using mixtures of colors for the leaves and also for the rose. I always let a bit of the rose color bleed into the stem. It creates the appearance of reflected light.

Nice colors. The leaves are great, but the rose needs more highlights. I saw your other rose and it is more realistic.
