I am Filipina from Philippines i like to learn how to paint, to charcoal, specially in oil painting the problem is I am far from the USA. How can you help me? Where do I start?

This is to the girl from the Philippines. Check out the web and go to "watercolors lessons:. There should be sites to watch and learn. Watercolor is a complete different technique and application than oil painting. There can be all types of styles applied to watercolor. Look at some of the masters to get ideas such as....Winslow Homer, John Pike, Wyatt Waters. Hope this may be of some help. I have been painting in watercolor for several years now, and I still am learning new ways and techniques. Mike Koskie.

From there you can find all about the supplies, free videos and helpful suggestions.
